THE DANCE COMBINE is designed for college coaches to recruit and connect with high school dancers on a national level. Coaches from all divisions will be recruiting dancers throughout the day, providing dancers with the opportunity to connect with them.

THE DANCE COMBINE - 2.5 Day Format
This event is for those who want to gain national exposure in their college recruiting journey and connect with schools from all over.  The event is NATIONALLY ATTENDED meaning coaches and dancers from all over the country are traveling in to participate once per year. This is your one stop shop to connect with 50+ teams in one place once per year. Only current High School Sophomores and Juniors are eligible to attend in person. We also offer the At-Home Pass should you not be able to make it or are a current Freshman! 

THE TOUR -  1.5 Day Format
These events happen each summer from June - August in cities near you! Each stop on THE TOUR is an all-inclusive summer dance intensive for those who want to be challenged to improve their skill set. THE TOUR is perfect for dancers and teams who are looking for the most well-rounded training experience on the market!

THE TOUR + REGIONAL COMBINE - 2 Day Format
This event is perfect for those strongly considering a future in college dance! A consolidated version of the high-quality training taught at THE TOUR (see details above), PLUS an extra half day for a College Recruiting Experience. Regional COMBINES are attended by colleges that are in or near the region of the TOUR stop. TOUR + Regional COMBINES are more intimate than our national event (THE DANCE COMBINE), so your chances of grabbing a coach's attention are even better.

THE DANCE COMBINE is a groundbreaking event—the first of its kind! Designed by our recruiting experts, it brings dancers and college coaches together while also preparing dancers to showcase their best.

Before the event, dancers complete important tasks to ensure they’re fully prepared, making the time spent with college coaches more productive and impactful. It’s not just about showing up—it’s about showing up ready to impress!

In-Person Pass:

Dancers graduating in the classes of 2026-2027.

At-Home Pass:

Dancers graduating in the classes of 2026-2028.

Our recruiting experts often hear the question, “Do I really need to attend THE DANCE COMBINE? If I’m good enough, won’t coaches just find me? Can’t I just make the team just based upon a solid audition?”

No one, no matter how much of a star dancer they are, can rely on chance in the recruiting process. Because of time constraints and their dance team’s budget, college coaches don’t have the resources to travel the country to see recruits, which is why THE DANCE COMBINE is so unique. 

The college dance team audition process has changed significantly in the last 5 years. Dancers can no longer show up to one audition and make their college dream team. It is crucial to have multiple connection points with college coaches to ensure the program is the best fit.  

You can become the next college dancer. There’s no better place to start the process than THE DANCE COMBINE.

A COMBINE MVP (Most Valuable Prospect), is determined through a pre-event application process, we identify the most elite dancers attending THE DANCE COMBINE In-Person who are then labeled as 'COMBINE MVPS'. These dancers are predicted to be at the top of their recruiting class. In addition to participating in all standard event components, they will have exclusive showcases to highlight their specific abilities to the college coaches.This distinctive label can be a game-changer in a dancer's recruiting journey.

COMBINE MVPS will be chosen by a Selection Committee based on:

• A Consecutive Technique Video
• Combo Videos

All COMBINE MVPS will showcase a 1 min solo (style of choice), and are guaranteed entry in the 4x8 & Improv Showcases.

No, you do not need to log in to or have an existing account. All dancers will be asked to set one up after successfully purchasing a pass.

This is a great opportunity to get increased exposure to college coaches if selected. 

The 2025 audition process has minimal requirements, making it easy for you to audition for this event.

If chosen, you'll showcase supplemental material for college coaches, giving you MAXIMUM exposure to college programs.

It's important to understand that the audition process is highly competitive, with only a limited number of dancers being chosen.

Furthermore, please keep in mind that this is just one of the many opportunities you may encounter in your recruiting journey to perform in front of college coaches.

Even if you audition and are not selected this year, you will still have the chance to showcase your talent and gain exposure to over 50+ college programs. You have nothing to lose!

COMBINE MVPS will get guaranteed entry into our 4x8 & Improv Showcases and will be able to showcase a 1 minute solo on day 3! 

Due to the live design of the coinciding showcases, only dancers who hold an in-person passes will be able to participate in this audition.

A Selection Committee will evaluate each applicant. The Selection Committee is composed of a panel of evaluators who have expertise in the college dance team industry. They will choose dancers by reviewing and scoring all auditions.

Official scores, the evaluation process, and feedback for this audition will not be disclosed. However, in-person attendees will still receive their TRIBE 99 Combine Score post event!

There is not a set number of dancers chosen to attend.

The Selection Committee will focus on making sure that the top dancers selected share the same standards of excellence and match the requirements that top college coaches are looking for in their recruits.

Only the selected COMBINE MVPS will be asked to share their solo in person.

Dancer Passes will go on sale November 12, 2024 at 7pm CST on our website. 

Coach Passes will go on sale October 31, 2024 at 1pm CST on our website. 

We anticipate in-person passes will SELL OUT quickly, so get your registration game face on!

It is one of our biggest priorities to ensure that each individual in attendance walks away with a very high-quality experience which includes having the appropriate space and sufficient time in front of college coaches to showcase themselves. The number of dancers permitted to attend will reflect these priorities!

The At-Home Pass is for dancers to submit their recruitment videos to be viewed by the college coaches in attendance. This option will remain available to all dancers, even if the in person event is sold out. See more info on The At-Home Pass below.

Yes! We want to ensure that any dancer who wants to be seen by college coaches has the opportunity to do so. This is why we created the At Home Pass - a virtual experience for dancers to submit their recruitment videos to be viewed by the college coaches in attendance. See more info on The At-Home below.

If a spot opens up for an in-person pass, we will offer the option to upgrade in this order:

1. The At-Home pass holders, class of 2026
2. The At-Home pass holders, class of 2027
3. Non-Pass holders who are on the waitlist
4. The Public via our Instagram

Dancers who weren't able to grab an in-person pass are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to register for The At-Home Pass! This is a great way to experience our event, showcase your talent and get exposure to college coaches. In addition, you'll get a list of the attending coaches information which includes any upcoming in-person recruiting opportunities associated with their schools!

The final date that we will offer any waitlisted spots (if available) will be April 18, 2025.

THE DANCE COMBINE At-Home Pass is an opportunity for dancers who cannot attend the live event to be recruited by the amazing collegiate programs registered for THE DANCE COMBINE. At-Home Dancers will submit a video of their technical skills, 4x8, and routines.

The college dance team audition landscape has changed significantly over the last 5 years. Many teams now require a video component as a part of the team’s recruitment or audition process. 

Not only does The At-Home Pass allow the dancer to share their recruiting profiles and videos with college coaches, it is one of the only opportunities that provides the  dancer with a chance to learn how to put together a top notch recruiting video.

Dancers can also utilize the masterclass routines for future recruit videos for their top programs.

Finally, the curated list of college program profiles provided through The At-Home Pass is essential to help you organize within the recruiting process.

Rising high school sophomores through seniors (classes of 2026-2028) can attend.

NEW IN 2025 - At-Home dancers will have the opportunity to join Zoom recruitment coach connection sessions this spring! We aim to create a platform that allows dancers to connect with their future teams from the comfort of their own homes.

Additionally, all Coaches will receive each dancer’s full profile, including all of his/her contact information, to connect with the dancer following the video submission.

Dancers will receive a College Program Info Sheet which includes all of the program’s information to connect with the coaches personally.

All colleges listed in the dancer’s “TOP 5 Schools List”, will be notified of the dancer’s interest.

Because each coach has different recruiting philosophies, seasons, and needs, we cannot guarantee that coaches will contact you individually.

Quick answer, no. In order to ensure quality of teaching and detail of the movement, At-Home dancers will learn the TRIBE 99 routines via video in their own time.

At-Home dancers will be granted access to the combo teaching videos on May 27th after the in-person even has concluded and will have through June 3rd to learn, record and submit their material!

The TRIBE 99 COMBINE SCORE is based on 8 categories, some of which require evaluation of a live performance. As a result, participants in the At-Home Pass will not receive a TRIBE 99 COMBINE SCORE. 

There are built-in sections of the event where dancers can individually walk around the tables to connect with you. At the event, you will get the dancer's profiles including all of their contact information. Dancers will also have your college program profiles if they wish to connect with a coach personally after the event. 

As for the At-Home Pass, you will be sent additional Dancer Profiles AND new this year have an opportunity to attend a Virtual Coach Connection to expand your reach. 

Dancers will showcase a hip hop, jazz, and pom routine, we well as technique. Select dancers will also showcase their individual talents doing improv, an additional 4x8 and a 1 minute solo.

For The At-Home Pass, dancers will submit videos of their technical skills, 4x8 solo, and hip hop, jazz, and pom routines. 

Each registered coach will receive all of the dancers information you would need (ie: name, city/state, grad year, high school info etc.) Each dancer is submitting a list of their TOP 5 schools. Each program will receive a sheet of all the dancers who have them included in their TOP 5 list. 

Coaches will also receive dancers' technique scores and TRIBE 99 COMBINE SCORE if the dancer is attending the in-person event. 

Each program will have a 4-6 ft table. At your table, you are free to bring any and all marketing material for your program. 

Each dancer attending our event in-person will receive a comprehensive "TRIBE 99 COMBINE SCORE". In an effort to provide maximum feedback and to ensure we are supporting an atmosphere for growth, dancers will also receive score breakdowns for each category they are being evaluated in.

Back for 2025, we are inviting coaches to bring up to 2 of their team members to perform in our College Kickoff routine. There is no additional registration fee for these dancers to attend the event!

College dancers will be sent the choreography to learn before arriving in Dallas. Dancers must be available for rehearsal on Friday, May 16th, 2025.

TRIBE 99’s terms and conditions are similar to most live event functions (concerts, dance conventions, etc.), as all expenses are incurred well in advance. Without these policies, it would be difficult for our small business to project the number of staff members, facility space, and plan for the overall event experience. 

We always strive to serve our clients with the best experience possible, and in order to remain fair with all of the dancers, coaches, and parents we serve, we must keep a consistent refund policy for all event participants.

The $75 value of the refundable ticket pre-purchase option reflects the administrative efforts required to fill the spot once a dancer cancels. This includes the time it takes to communicate with a waitlisted dancer to fill the canceled spot, collect new dancer information, as well as removing and adding dancers within our coach communication portal.

We strive to provide our clients with the best experience possible and try our best to remain fair to all the dancers we serve. The February 28th deadline allows for our staff to recruit a new dancer to fill the canceled spot. This date also allows for an appropriate amount of time for an upgraded waitlisted dancer to plan their travel to the event.
