MUST-KNOW DETAILS


Technique Requirements: Dancers will submit a required technique video in advance, which will contribute to their TRIBE 99 Combine Score.

TRIBE 99 Combine Score: All in-person dancers in the Classes of 2028 + 2029 will receive a comprehensive score across multiple categories—giving them greater insight into where they stand within their recruiting class and how to strategically approach their recruiting process moving forward.

Style Requirements: Dancers will take 3 college-level masterclasses in jazz/contemporary, hip hop, and pom and perform each combo for college coaches. 

4x8 Showcase: Every dancer will have the opportunity to showcase their individual strengths in the 4x8 Showcase.

NEW FOR 2027 – Solo Showcase: Dancers can compete with a 1-minute solo for the opportunity to perform in front of college coaches on Sunday. Separate registration required.

THE MVP LIST


MOST VALUABLE PROSPECT (MVP) – a prestigious title recognizing recruits who demonstrate the potential to make an immediate impact on top competitive college programs.

All registered in-person recruits from the classes of 2028 and 2029 will be invited to audition in advance for the COMBINE MVP LIST. TRIBE 99's Selection Committee will evaluate video submissions to identify these standout athletes.

MVPs will participate in every segment of THE DANCE COMBINE, with the additional opportunity to showcase a one-minute solo.

Being named to the COMBINE MVP LIST gives recruits an additional opportunity to stand out in front of college programs.

Showcase and compete a 1-minute solo on Thursday, May 13, judged by TRIBE 99 Faculty. The top-scoring soloists will earn the opportunity to perform during the MVP Solo Showcase on Sunday in front of all college coaches. Open to classes of 2028 & 2029.
