THE DANCE COMBINE is designed for college coaches to recruit and connect with high school dancers on a national level. Coaches from all divisions will be recruiting dancers throughout the day, providing dancers with the opportunity to connect with them.

You will be sent 200+ additional Dancer Profiles from our At-Home Dancers. New this year, you will also have an opportunity to attend a Virtual Coach Connection to expand your reach. Mark your calendar for Tuesday, May 6th!

Coach Connections: There are built-in sections of the event that we call 'Coach Connections', where dancers can walk around the tables to connect directly with you.

Active Recruiting: We encourage coaches to move around at our event and actively recruit dancers throughout the day.

Dancer Profiles: The week of our event, you will get the 'Dancer Profiles' which is a document that includes all of their information you may need.

College Program Profiles: Dancers will also have your 'College Program Profiles' if they wish to connect with a coach personally after the event.  

Dancer Profiles: All registered coaches will receive comprehensive "Dancer Profiles" which includes ALL the information you would need to recruit (ie: name, city/state, grad year, high school info etc.).

Top 5 School List: Additionally, each dancer prior to our event submits a list of their TOP 5 schools. Each coach will receive a document of all the dancers who have them included in their TOP 5 list. 

Technique Score: Coaches will receive the dancers' technique score prior to the event. This technique score feeds into their comprehensive TRIBE 99 COMBINE SCORE that will be released July 2025. Coaches will have access to all TRIBE 99 Combine Scores.

Each dancer attending our event in-person will receive a comprehensive "TRIBE 99 COMBINE SCORE". In an effort to provide maximum feedback and to ensure we are supporting an atmosphere for growth, dancers will also receive score breakdowns for each category they are being evaluated in.

NEW IN 2025 - Coaches will receive scoring rubrics for review to help align their program needs to recruit's abilities.

In-Person Event:

Dancers graduating in the classes of 2026-2027 can register to attend!

At-Home Pass:

Dancers graduating in the classes of 2026-2028 can participate.

Combo Showcases: All dancers will showcase a hip hop, jazz, and pom routines. Select dancers will also showcase their individual talents during the 4x8 and Improv Final Showcases.

Technique:  All dancers will showcase a range of technical elements including turns, jumps, acro, and flexibility. In-Person Dancers will also receive a 'Technique Score' prior to the event, which will be shared with you to review beforehand.

COMBINE MVP's: Selected MVP dancers will prepare and perform 1 minute solo during our 'Combine MVP Solo Showcase'.

At-Home Pass: Dancers will submit videos of their technical skills, 4x8 solo, and hip hop, jazz, and pom routines. 

Dancers will highlight their own skills/style and their personal strengths during a segment of the day called the 4x8 Showcase. Dancers will perform a pre-prepared four eight count combination then pause for you to take note of their number before the next group begins. 

Coaches and TRIBE 99 staff select the top dancers to perform their 4x8 in the finals on Sunday.

In the Improv Showcase, selected dancers will have the opportunity to express their distinctive movement quality and personal style.

TRIBE 99 selects the "Improv Standout" and awards one dancer during the final award ceremony on Sunday.

MOST VALUABLE PROSPECT (MVP) – a prestigious title for recruits anticipated to be at the top of their recruiting class and shine on top competitively ranked teams. Formerly known as "THE EXPO," this name change brings a fresh identity while maintaining its powerful meaning.

All in-person recruits from the Classes of 2026 and 2027 are invited to audition in advance for the MVP label at our event.

Our Selection Committee will evaluate video submissions, including technique and combo videos, to identify these elite athletes.

In addition to showcasing 3 combos, all COMBINE MVPS
will showcase a 1 min solo (style of choice) and have guaranteed entry in the 4x8 and Improv Showcases. 

A Selection Committee will evaluate each video audition. The Selection Committee is composed of a panel of evaluators who have expertise in the college dance team industry. 

There is not a set number of dancers chosen to attend.

The Selection Committee will focus on making sure that the top dancers selected share the same standards of excellence and match the requirements that top college coaches are looking for in their recruits.

The COLLEGE KICKOFF is a performance featuring YOUR current collegiate dancers representing participating college programs at THE DANCE COMBINE! 

This performance aims to spotlight your athletes while strategically assisting in attracting and engaging prospective recruits.

As of now, we invite you to bring up to 2 dancers to participate in the College Kickoff performance.

However, you can bring as many dancers as you wish to attend the event and help recruit. 

If we are able to accommodate more dancers this year, we will let you know in early 2025!

• Coaches can bring/select up to 2 college dancers to perform 
• They will learn the Jazz, HH & Pom combos via video before the event
• They will have 2-3 rehearsals with the TRIBE 99 staff before performing
• All of these dancers will come together, representing all different teams, to perform
• They can participate in a private networking session with ALL attending recruits (this is a game-changer if you are attending NDCA.They can jump start your recruiting efforts without you having to be present!)

The week of April 15th Dancers will receive an emailed schedule, waiver, short questionnaire, and additional event details. 

Each program will have (1) 6 ft table and (2) chairs set up. At your table, you are free to bring any and all marketing material for your program. See your Coach Portal for more details!

Yes - As a thank you for attending the event, TRIBE 99 will be providing lunch for up to two coaches per institution on Sunday, May 18th. Additional lunches may have been added via the College Program Profile form.

The exact restaurant for catering has not been chosen for 2025, however; in years past, we have worked with caterers to serve sandwiches, chips, granola bars and fruit.

College coaches commonly opt for team t-shirts, polos, or sweatshirts paired with jeans or leggings, with a preference for comfort over formality.

Wearing your team logo or colors helps the dancers identify you throughout the event. The most important thing is that you wear something you feel comfortable and confident in!

No, but you are welcome to stop by if you arrive early to Dallas.

All sales are non-refundable, and non-transferrable to other individuals as well as future TRIBE 99 events If the event is rescheduled, all purchases will be honored for the next event date. If the event is canceled by TRIBE 99, all purchases will be refunded in full.`

This refund policy will apply regardless of family emergencies, injuries, illness (including COVID-19), airline delays/cancellations, as well as conflicting life events.

Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event. Passes cannot be rolled over to the next year or transferred to another coach at a different institution.
