THE DANCE COMBINE is designed for college coaches to recruit and connect with high school dancers on a national level. Coaches from all divisions will be recruiting dancers throughout the day, providing dancers with the opportunity to connect with them.

All coaches have access to purchase the PLAYBACK PASS. This pass will give you access to videos of recruits from the combine. You will have access to these until December 31, 2027. 

Please note, that if you purchased the Bundle Pass or VIP Pass, the playback pass is included with your pass. 

Please check your email for your confirmation message to see if you purchased an upgrade. There is no additional portal and/or ticket for upgrades.

2027 College Program List Coming Soon!

You will be sent 200+ additional Dancer Profiles from our At-Home Dancers. 

You will also have an opportunity to connect with them at a virtual Coach Information Session. This will allow you to share important information with recruits about your program. 

Coach Connections: There are built-in sections of the event called 'Coach Connections', where dancers can walk around the tables to connect directly with you.

Active Recruiting: We encourage coaches to move around at our event and actively recruit dancers throughout the day.

Dancer Profiles: The week of our event, you will get the 'Dancer Profiles,' which is a document that includes all of their information you may need. This will be a live document, and be aware that if it is downloaded, some changes may be made.

College Program Profiles: Dancers will also have your 'College Program Profiles' if they wish to connect with a coach personally after the event.  

Dancer Profiles: All registered coaches will receive comprehensive "Dancer Profiles" which include ALL the information you would need to recruit (name, city/state, grad year, high school info, etc.). Included in the Dancer Profiles will be their technique score. 

Top 5 School List: Additionally, each dancer, before our event, submits a list of their Top 5 schools. Each coach will receive a document of all the dancers who have been included in their Top 5 list. 

TRIBE 99 COMBINE SCORE: You will receive the dancer's TRIBE 99 COMBINE SCORE in July 2027.  Learn more here! 

Each dancer attending our event in person will receive a comprehensive "TRIBE 99 COMBINE SCORE". In an effort to provide maximum feedback and to ensure we are supporting an atmosphere for growth, dancers will also receive score breakdowns for each category in which they are being evaluated.

THE DANCE COMBINE: UNDERCLASSMEN

Dancers graduating in the classes of 2030-2031 can register to attend!

At-Home Pass:

Dancers graduating in the classes of 2028-2031 can participate.

Combo Showcases: All dancers will showcase a hip hop, jazz, and pom routine. Dancers will also showcase their individual talents during the 4x8 Showcase and Improv Battle.

Technique:  All dancers will showcase a range of technical elements, including turns, jumps, acro, and flexibility. 

COMBINE MVPs: Selected MVP dancers will prepare and perform a 1-minute solo during our Combine MVP Solo Showcase.

At-Home Pass: Dancers will submit videos of their technical skills, 4x8, and hip hop, jazz, and pom routines. 

Dancers will highlight their own skills/style and their personal strengths during a segment of the day called the 4x8 Showcase. Dancers will perform a pre-prepared four eight count combination. 

In the Improv Showcase, selected dancers will have the opportunity to express their distinctive movement quality and personal style.

The COLLEGE KICKOFF is a performance featuring YOUR current collegiate dancers representing participating college programs at THE DANCE COMBINE! 

This performance aims to spotlight your athletes while strategically assisting in attracting and engaging prospective recruits.

We invite you to bring up to 2 dancers to participate in the College Kickoff performance.

If we can accommodate more dancers this year, we will let you know in early 2027!

• Coaches can bring/select up to 2 college dancers to perform 
• They will learn a gameday sideline in addition to either a pom, jazz, or hip hop combo via video before the event
• They will have 2-3 rehearsals with the TRIBE 99 staff before performing
• All dancers will receive a meal on Saturday
• All of these dancers will come together, representing all the different teams, to perform
• They can participate in a private networking session with ALL attending recruits (this is a game-changer if you are attending NDCA. They can jump-start your recruiting efforts without you having to be present!)

• Networking Opportunities with Recruits - Giving you a leg up on your recruitment for the weekend
• Increased Visibility - Your team's presence at the event for all 3 days, even when you are not there 
• Free Material - Take the showcase material and transform it to a game day routine in Fall of 2027!
• Extra Hands - Divide and conquer to make the most of this year's schedule

In February 2027, Dancers will receive an emailed schedule, waiver, short questionnaire, and additional event details.

MOST VALUABLE PROSPECT (MVP) – a prestigious title for recruits anticipated to be at the top of their recruiting class and shine on top competitively ranked teams. 

All in-person recruits from the Classes of 2028 and 2029 are invited to audition in advance for the MVP label at our event.

Our Selection Committee will evaluate video submissions, including technique and combo videos, to identify these elite athletes.

In addition to showcasing 3 combos, all COMBINE MVPS
will showcase a 1-minute solo (style of choice).

A Selection Committee will evaluate each video audition. The Selection Committee is composed of a panel of evaluators who have expertise in the college dance team industry. 

There is not a set number of dancers chosen to attend.

The Selection Committee will focus on making sure that the top dancers selected share the same standards of excellence and match the requirements that top college coaches are looking for in their recruits.

Each program will have a 2' x 6' table. At your table, you are free to bring any and all marketing material for your program. See your Coach Portal for more details!

A detailed schedule will be released in your Coach Portal in the Spring of 2027.

All coaches will receive lunch on Sunday, May 16th.

College coaches commonly opt for team t-shirts, polos, or sweatshirts paired with jeans or leggings, with a preference for comfort over formality.

Wearing your team logo or colors helps the dancers identify you throughout the event. The most important thing is that you wear something you feel comfortable and confident in!
